For the first time in history the police agency of Japan National Police Agency has appointed monetary compensation for the information which will help to find and arrest the hacker. The law allows police to establish similar compensations at the rate to 3 million yens (about 36 thousand dollars), the greatest possible award in this case is appointed.

In the description of the criminal (яп.яз.) it is told that he is able to program on C#, publishes anonymous messages at a popular Japanese forum 2channel from a name "Syberian Post Office" and uses means анонимизации on the Internet, without leaving any digital traces. The hacker is the author of the virus program iesys.exe. Such description strongly differs from traditional announcements of search of the criminal which are usually accompanied by an identikit and the description of signs.

The hacker has not made special crimes, but it literally затроллил local police, delivering them set of troubles. For example, several months ago four citizens have been by mistake arrested for the publication of messages at a city forum with threats of massacre of children at elementary school. As it was found out, computers of these citizens have been cracked by means of attack CSRF (a fake межсайтовых inquiries) and used for the publication of messages at a forum. Most likely, them have enticed on a site which was supervised by the malefactor, and from it messages on a forum where these users have been authorised have been sent. In other words, the unknown hacker has simply substituted them so a victim by miracle have avoided imprisonment.

«Till today similar compensations appointed in case of serious crimes as murder or an arson, but on December, 7th rules have changed, and now it is possible to appoint an award for wider list of crimes», — official representative National Police Agency (analogue of American FBI) has told. Probably, change of rules is connected with this concrete case.
